The chair holder (to be named in late 2007) will advance the understanding of different cultures and religious traditions, and how globalization and other contemporary forces are affecting them. Stephen Jarislowsky is chair and CEO of Jarislowsky, Fraser and Company. He is an Officer of the Order of Canada, a Knight of the National Order of Quebec, and holds honorary doctorates from a growing list of Canadian universities.
