SFU's office of francophone and Francophile affairs (OFFA) launched a French-language doctorate in
educational leadership this semester — the first of its kind in Western Canada.

Taught entirely in French, it addresses the need for educational leadership in BC's francophone community. Students in the program come from different sectors of the francophone community; some are teachers, principals or school district administrators, others are involved in public service, community associations or non-governmental organizations.

The new program, taught at the Vancouver campus, is jointly coordinated by OFFA and SFU's Faculty of Education.
