Discover the latest technological innovations shaping research and education at BCNET's annual conference April 17-18 at the Vancouver campus. Making Connections: Sharing Knowledge for Greater Innovation brings together more than 400 researchers, academics, information technology professionals and government leaders from B.C.

More than 30 panels, workshops and lectures will cover learning and collaboration technologies, new media and networking, research tools, technology for health and high-performance computing. The speaker line-up of more than 70 experts includes keynote addresses by Carl Wieman, Nobel Prize laureate and U.S. professor of the year and David Wiley (above), associate professor and director of Utah State University's Centre for Open and Sustainable Learning.

BCNET provides high-speed network capabilities to SFU, its researchers and other higher-education communities.
