High school students with an academic admission average of 75-per cent after graduation are now guaranteed admission at SFU. "We want a broad range of students to consider SFU," notes registrar Kate Ross, who says many high school grads with a 75-per cent average or better do not even apply to SFU, thinking their marks are not high enough. Applicants with a 90-per cent high school graduation average will automatically receive a minimum $3,500 entrance scholarship: applicants with a 95-per cent average get an automatic $5,000 award.
