The SFU Bookstore’s Burnaby campus storefront is now located one floor down from its previous location on Convocation Mall. It features a new look and a more streamlined retail experience for book buyers, says Mikhail Dzuba, bookstore manager.

With 12 cash registers all located in the same place and just one queue to stand in, the fall textbook rush should run more smoothly and efficiently. “We’ll have the ability to react more quickly to problems,” he says.

Dzuba’s quick to point out that the move has not disrupted the processing of orders for learning materials. “It’s business as usual,” he says. “We always guarantee that 95 percent of course books will be on the shelves two weeks prior to the start of classes and that’s still going to happen.”
