PhD business student Victor Chen has won a 2008-09 post-graduate research fellowship worth $35,000 from the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada. He will spend the next year on two projects: on the "Canadian Diaspora" to discover which Canadians are most likely to move to other countries and what strategies the government might adopt to reduce the "brain drain", and another researching how to attract foreign investment.
