Art for Social Change is a movement—and the title of a new video that explains the many ways in which various arts are used as vehicles for social change in local and international communities. The video airs on Thursday, April 15 at 6 pm at the Vancouver campus at Harbour Centre. It’s a project of the International Centre for Art for Social Change (ICASC), a partnership between SFU and Judith Marcuse Projects. The ICASC is launching Exploring Arts for Social Change, a 13-week evening program beginning Sept. 15 that includes workshops, dialogues and projects related to this growing movement.
