Gloria Gutman (above), SFU gerontology professor emeritus and founding director of the SFU Gerontology Research Centre, has been named in Zoomer Magazine’s 2010 list of “Canada’s Top 45 over 45”. Zoomer, which styles itself as Canada’s boomer lifestyle magazine, recognized Gutman for influencing policy that affects older Canadians. She is currently president of the International Network for Prevention of Elder abuse and co-leader of the BC Network for Aging Research.
