Chancellor Brandt Louie’s second term expires in June 2011 and SFU is now seeking nominations to fill the position. The chancellor’s duties include chairing convocation ceremonies, sitting as a member of senate and the board of governors and conferring all degrees. The chancellor often represents the university within the larger community and is one of its chief ambassadors. Nominations are confidential and should not be discussed with the nominee.
