Chemist Leznoff wins Strem award

Chemist Daniel Leznoff’s outstanding contributions to inorganic chemistry have earned him the Canadian Society for Chemistry’s 2010 Strem Chemicals Award for Pure or Applied Inorganic Chemistry. In 2009, Leznoff, who has published more than 70 articles on topics such as paramagnetic organometallic chemistry and actinide chemistry, won the Faculty of Science award for excellence in teaching. He has also won several provincial and national Japanese-language speech competitions.
