CJSF host elected to broadcasting NGO board

SFU education grad student Sylvia Richardson was elected director-at-large of AMARC, the World Association of Community Radio Broadcasters (l’Assocation Mondiale des Radiodiffuseurs Communautaires) at the organization’s quadrennial world conference in La Plata, Argentina. Richardson co-hosts the program Latin Waves on campus radio station CJSF-FM. AMARC is an international non-governmental organization of community radio broadcasters founded in Montreal in 1983, which now has nearly 3,000 members in 110 countries.
