Don’t miss the Stand Up For Mental Health (SMH) comedy troupe on Wednesday, Oct. 20, from 7-9:30 pm at Djavad Mowafaghian Cinema in the Goldcorp Centre for the Arts at SFU Woodward’s. Fresh from the sold out shows at the Vancouver Comedy Fest and Montreal Fringe Festival, the Vancouver-based SMH comedians use stand-up to break down the stigma and stimulate discussion around mental illness issues such as depression and suicide on campus. The troupe’s founder, David Granirer, is a counsellor, comic and author of The Happy Neurotic. Tickets (at the door) are free with SFU student ID. All others are $10 or by donation.
