SFU is participating in Earth Hour, the world’s largest environmental movement. On Saturday, March 27 facilities services will switch off lights and other electrical devices across campus (with the exception of the research buildings) from 8:30–9:30 pm and asks all those on campus who can safely shut off lighting and electrical devices to do so. To track the energy savings, Pulse Energy has volunteered to monitor SFU’s main power substation during Earth Hour. For more information:
