Marcuse tapped as Centre for Dialogue fellow

Judith Marcuse, a dancer, choreographer and producer whose career spans 40 years and 100 original works for dance, theatre, opera, film, television and special events, has been appointed as a fellow at SFU’s Centre for Dialogue. A pioneer in the field of art for social change, Marcuse is co-director of the new International Centre for Art and Social Change. She will offer workshops and teach in the Centre for Dialogue’s first Fall Institute, "Exploring Arts for Social Change." The 12-week evening program is aimed at artists, students and anyone who is interested in using the arts as a vehicle for social change. Her appointment was effective April 1, 2010 for one year and is renewable for one more year.
