Marketing professor Leyland Pitt is the new Dennis F. Culver executive MBA (EMBA) alumni professor. Pitt is a prolific researcher who holds many awards for teaching excellence. The most recent is the American Marketing Association’s 2010 Pearson Prentice Hall Solomon-Marshall-Stuart award for innovative excellence in marketing education. The Culver professorship is funded through the EMBA alumni endowment, a fund the late chartered accountant and graduate of SFU’s first class of executive MBAs helped establish. Culver maintained a lifelong relationship with SFU and the alumni association.
