Five SFU sports legends were officially inducted into the BC Sports Hall of Fame Sept. 16, led by founding athletics director Lorne Davies, who built the university’s athletics program into one of the country’s best from 1965–1995. Also inducted was Clan fullback Sean Millington (above), a two-time outstanding Canadian and second all-time rusher during 13 years in the Canadian Football League with the Edmonton Eskimos (1990-91 and 1999), Winnipeg Blue Bombers (1998) and Toronto Argonauts (2005), but primarily with the B.C. Lions (1991-97 and 2000-02) with whom he won two Grey Cup championships. Millington was also inducted in the team category with his 1994 Grey Cup champion B.C. Lions teammates and Clan alumni Guilio Caravatta, Doug Petersen and Lui Passaglia.
