The Journal of International Business Studies (JIBS), the world’s top-rated international business journal, has appointed SFU Business professor David Thomas as its area editor for cross-cultural management. Thomas directs the business faculty’s Centre for Global Workforce Strategy and teaches international business. As a JIBS area editor, he analyzes other researchers’ work on cross-cultural decision-making and negotiation, multicultural teams and cultural influence on organizational structures and processes. Thomas has authored eight books, including Cultural Intelligence: Living and Working Globally and the award-winning Cross-Cultural Management Essential Concept.
