SFU Business has announced the 2009 winners of its CaseIT competition, North America’s largest undergraduate management information systems business-case competition. Students from National University of Singapore took the $1200 first prize, while students from Ryerson University and Kwantlen Polytechnic University took second ($600) and third place ($300) respectively. Student teams from universities on four continents arrived in Vancouver Feb. 4–7 to compete. They had 24 hours to solve a business case created by Harvard Business Publishing. Teams then presented their solutions to a panel of expert judges that included delegates from top technology companies such as SAP, IBM Canada and Tata Consulting.
