Golf tees off again

After a three-year hiatus, men’s and women’s golf returns to the SFU varsity sports program this fall, with players competing in the NAIA league. Former SFU golf coach John Buchanan will run the program from its home course at the nearby Vancouver Golf Club. To try out for the team contact jbuchana@sfu.ca or call 604.936.3823.

Finally, SFU has recognized the importance of re-fielding a Varsity Golf Team. A university the size of SFU can find the funds to run an excellent program. Good for you, SFU! Stay the course and support your coach and the young athletes that represent your university. A very special "thank you" to John Buchanan for supporting these young men and women. Initially, rebuilding will be tough but your passion for helping young athletes follow a dream, will grow and make this team GREAT!
