The English department has created an endowment fund honouring professor emeritus and celebrated poet Robin Blaser who died of cancer on May 7, 2009. Blaser’s literary and scholarly contributions earned him an SFU honorary doctorate last month, the Griffen Poetry Prize in 2008 and the Order of Canada in 2004.
