Contemplating a hot business idea? Discuss it with an expert at Mentor Meet, SFU Venture Connection’s new, weekly café drop-ins for entrepreneurial students. Or discuss ideas with aspiring students from across the university at a Venture Meet-up.

“Students will also learn about Venture Connection’s support programs for their new ventures,” says Janice OBriain, manager of the new interdisciplinary entrepreneurship centre for students, faculty and community entrepreneurs.

Mentor Meets are held mid- and end-of-month at both the Burnaby and Surrey campuses. The mentors are experienced entrepreneurs and business advisors. The first Mentor Meets:  Thursday, June 11, 12-1 pm, SFU Surrey Mezzanine and Friday, June 12, 12-1 pm SFU Burnaby, WMC second floor outside Raven’s Café.

Twice-monthly Venture Meet-ups alternate between the Burnaby and Surrey campuses. The first Meet-up: Wednesday, June 24, 4:30 pm, ASB 9896 Burnaby campus. More info: www.ventureconnection.sfu.ca
