Sustainability ambassador Don Seeley, a LAN administrator with IT Services, has just completed a project that will see the 515 computers in SFU’s public computer labs at the Burnaby campus shut down each night from 11 pm until 7:30 am. The initiative will save approximately $1,875 per year and 47,000 kilowatt-hours of energy—enough to light approximately five homes for a year.

Doesn't the SFU library close at 23.45 on the weekdays? Would the active users be able to disable the shutdown sequence at 23.00?
