Fun and games brought out kids’ powers of concentration during SFU’s popular summer camps in July and August at the Burnaby and Surrey campuses. More than 5,000 kids aged 5-18 signed up for educational camps such as mini University Science; sports camps such as swimming, soccer and tennis and recreational camps such as ClanKids. There were also partnership camps involving external professionals and community organizations that offered specialized programs such as band, music, video production and ScienceAlive! New this year: Mountain Madness with archery, hiking and orienteering, culminating in an "Amazing Race" atop the mountain.
