The SFU Food Bank’s annual winter food drive runs Nov. 23–Dec. 12, with departments across the university collecting non-perishable items such as cereal, canned meat and fish, beans, vegan and vegetarian soups and canned fruit and vegetables. Chris Oatman of Student Development, which co-administers the Food Bank with the Simon Fraser Student Society, says the number of food bank clients has increased significantly in the past year.
