Coffee tips totalling $100 have now helped to increase SFU's United Way campaign total to more than $96,100. Parvinder Jaswal (right) recently donated a week of tips from the Rennaissance cappuccino outlet she and her brother, Parminder Parhar, run in the northeast corner of the academic quadrangle. Shown with Jaswal is co-worker Simarjit Minhas. To date, the United Way total is just $5,000 short of the goal of $101,000 announced last fall at the outset of the campus campaign. But donors still have time to help out. Because of the recent national postal strike, the federal government has relaxed its regulations so that donations received before the end of January will qualify for 1997 income tax receipts. Donations may be sent to campaign chair Peter Kennedy in care of SFU's economics department.
