It's free, it's fun and it's focussed on kids to age 13. It's the annual Kids' Safety Day at SFU on Saturday, July 15, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. by the pond in the AQ.

Hosted by SFU campus security for families of SFU and the neighbouring community, the day features a bike rodeo, safety presentations, face painting, games and prizes.

Presenters include the Burnaby fire department, the RCMP, BC Hydro Power Smart outreach, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, the B.C Drug and Poison information centre, and the CN police.

Draw prizes include passes to Playland, the Vancouver Aquarium, Crash Crawly's, the Whitecaps soccer games and more.
