What do Italian Eggs, Union Café Cashews and Survival Casserole have in common? They are just three of the 98 recipes contained in Food for Thought: A Collection of SFU Recipes. Available at the SFU Burnaby, Surrey and Vancouver campus bookstores for $12, this spiral-bound book contains contributions from faculty and staff which were collected during the university's 40th anniversary year. Proceeds from the sale of the cookbook will go to the United Way of the Lower Mainland and the SFU Campus Community Bursary Fund. The book makes a great gift for the student cook on your list, with lots of one-pot meals, as well as for the sophisticated chef who can impress friends by preparing gin prawns or bananas with rum and coffee. SFU's Learning and Instructional Development Centre provided the photography and design for the book and Document Solutions donated the printing.
