There's still time to enter the TELUS New Ventures B.C. 2003 competition - one of North America's largest technology business idea competitions.
Initiated by SFU business in 2001, the competition offers business education seminars, networking, mentoring and $120,000 in cash and prizes. This year, a slate of seven business education seminars, costing just $50, includes entry in the competition.

Last year, SFU professor Bill Havens placed second, winning $20,000 in cash and services for his online scheduling software.

In 2001, SFU engineering students Frederick Ghahramani, Bryce Pasechnik and Vincent Yen won first place.
