Do you know of an outstanding person or organization that is making science and technology interesting and accessible to all Canadians? If so, they deserve a nomination for the Michael Smith Awards for Science Promotion.

Nominees should be a person or group who takes science outside academia to reach people in all walks of life. They must be Canadian and they should be making a sustained and significant effort to inspire public understanding and develop abilities in science and engineering.

Individual award winners will receive a personal award of $5,000. Winning organizations will be awarded $10,000 to further science promotion activities.
