Welcome to Introduction to Ecology!
This course will give students a basic understanding of the natural processes that shape the living world and an appreciation for the ‘services’ provided by ecosystems that serve as the foundation for all human societies. We will emphasize learning about species interactions in biological communities, and the relationships between communities and the environment. This course serves as a pre-requisite for all upper division ecology courses and is required for all Biology majors.
Periodically, we will post new materials here (lecture outlines, assignments, additional suggested readings, etc.). Check back often!
