Housing
    - On-Campus Residence Office
    - Off-Campus Housing Office

Admission to the residences is contingent upon being a registered student of SFU. When vacancies occur, a waiting list is used, and the next applicant in line is offered accommodation. Applicants are ranked on the waiting lists according to: permanent residence, marital status, and the date that their completed application is received by the Residence Office.

Students interested in dormitory accommodation should apply as soon as possible during the application periods given in the Calendar. Note that an academic application to Simon Fraser University is not an application for residence accommodation; and an academic acceptance from the University is not an offer of accommodation.

The services of the Housing Office are made available free of charge to persons listing and to persons seeking accommodation. For more information, see the website linked above.

International & Exchange Student Services
The International & Exchange Student Services at Simon Fraser University provides initial and on-going help to international students on campus. International students coming to study at SFU should also visit the International Students Information page.

SFU Health, Counselling, & Career Centre
Health Services provides on-campus health care for students. It carries a staff of fully qualified doctors and nurses. At the time of registration all students are required to have current medical insurance. Those (such as new arrivals) who are not eligible for insurance under the British Columbia Medical Services Plan can purchase temporary health insurance from private agencies listed by the University Health Service.
