Isabelle Côté and Maya Piddocke honoured at this year's SFU Awards dinner!

Congratulations to Isabelle Côté and Maya Piddocke, Biological Sciences members who were honoured at this year's SFU Awards dinner on Tuesday March 1st.

We're thrilled to let you know that our own Isabelle Côté won the SFU Faculty Champion for a Healthy Campus award! The Teaching Faculty nominated Isabelle for her "empathetic support and decisive leadership during the COVID pandemic"! Congratulations, Isa!!

As announced by the Chair in January, Maya Piddocke won a 2021 Staff Achievement Award for Work Performance! Maya is really an unsung hero in the department. As noted in the SFU Newsletter today, "Maya juggles an impressive workload while managing large projects, including the renovation of four large teaching labs. She accomplishes her work with efficiency, integrity and an exceptional can-do attitude." Congratulations, Maya!!
