Mr. Robert G. Elton Order-in-Council - Board Chair

Mr. Elton is past Executive Chair, Powertech Labs and Advisor to the Board of Directors of BC Hydro. Prior to this, he was President and CEO of BC Hydro and has also served in various senior positions with Powerex, Eldorado Gold Corporation, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and Coopers & Lybrand. Mr. Elton is involved in various civic and community activities, as Chair of the Immigrant Employment Council of BC, Director of the Minerva Foundation for BC Women, Member of the Board of Canadian Business for Social Responsibility, Member of the Global Agenda Council, World Economic Forum, and Advisory Board Member of the Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions.  For more than 25 years he has coached girls' and womens' soccer. Bob was educated at the University of Cambridge where he read English and earned his Bachelor and Master of Arts.
