Dr. Andy Hoffer

2010 LifeSciences BC Innovation and Achievement Award Recipient

Dr. Andy Hoffer was the recipient of this year's Innovation and Achievement Award for two groundbreaking technologies developed by his SFU team – the Neurostep to enable walking in people with motor disabilities, and the Lungpacer to preserve the strength of the diaphragm in critically ill, mechanically ventilated patients.
