Water connects us all through the sea, rivers, and clouds and is not bound by human imposed borders. Nine contemporary Indigenous artists explore water as a crucial element of creation. qaʔ yəxʷ is a hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ expression that means “water honours us”. Guest curators ReMatriate Collective reveal the unique connection between womxn and water in the matriarchal societies of the Northwest Coast.
