Unleash your inner Spielberg at The Director's Cut in feature film making, claymation, stop motion animation, music video production, and digital comic book production! Spend a week in the studio with almost famous film makers and media specialists who will work with you on the latest digital equipment to unleash your imagination and creativity.
Rock, Paper, Scissors (PM, 8-11 years)
(Animated Film Making) You get to draw your characters, design your backdrop, write a script and learn the tips to make a cool animated film! Working in a film crew, campers will use paper, scissors and markers to create a story that jumps off the page. Learn how to use stop motion cameras and the latest Macbooks to produce your animated film. Add sound effects, voiceover, special effects, transitions and titles. Each participant gets a chaptered DVD of all the films made at the camp.
I wanna Rock! Music Video Production (AM, 8-11 years)
Produce a Music Video! In this interactive camp, you and your film crew will work to storyboard your ideas, write music lyrics, create digital music and then choreograph and produce the next best music video! Using digital video cameras, capture the action in living colour! You choose the shot location, costumes, props and use the latest Macbooks to edit and produce a music video to remember! Each participant gets a chaptered DVD of all the films made at the camp.
Lego / Polly Pocket Stop Motion (AM or PM, 5-7 years)
Bring your Polly Pockets and Lego creations for this one of a kind stop motion film making camp. You and your film crew will write a script and learn techniques to make your favourite toys come to life in a short animated film. Learn how to use stop motion cameras, the latest Macbooks to produce your animated film. Add sound effects, voicevers, special effects, transitions and titles. Each participant gets a chaptered DVD of all the films made at the camp.
