Youth Strength & Conditioning Camp - Training to Compete (11-18 years)
These camps are directed at young athletes looking to achieve the next level of performance. Under the supervision of SFU varsity strength & conditioning staff, athletes will train for speed, power, agility, strength and endurance that will reflect the right type of conditioning for their sport. Through various techniques, which include Olympic weightlifting, plyometrics, flexibility development and sprinting mechanics, our speed-strength program builds a strong foundation for athletes in all sports. All summer camp athletes receive a special strength and conditioning t-shirt, and handbook. No camp on Aug 6 due to the stat holiday.

Junior Strength & Conditioning Camp - Training to Train (8-11 years)
This camp introduces strength training principles and activities to young children who are ready to enter an organized training program. Recent research has shown that strength training at this age can help to promote growth, increased bone density and overall muscle strength. We provide a fun, safe and closely monitored environment for these young athletes. They will be instructed on basic speed, power, agility, strength and endurance drills. We have a strong emphasis on developing a positive attitude, optimal posture, dynamic range of motion, sound running technique and efficient overall movement mechanics. Above all, we encourage participation in a variety of games to help develop a foundation of usable motor skills. Note: All summer camp athletes receive a special strength and conditioning t-shirt. No camp on Aug 6 due to the stat holiday.
