ABOUT

Capture is a fusion of electronics and arts. It is a collaborative environment that builds on the changing relationship of man and technology, realized through sculpture, video, sound, robotics and interactive technologies.

THE GROUP

The switch foundry is a group of 4th year students from SIAT (School of Interactive Arts and Technology) SFU, who study performance and media arts. We are programmers, storytellers, sculptors, sound designers, and futurists. We are interactive artists. We explore technology, culture, bodies, narrative, and even the internet! The Switch Foundry has worked together collaboratively in various configurations for the past 4 years on immersive, interactive, real and virtual spaces/objects/systems

THE PLACE

The butchershop floor is a place of crossroads where people working in a wide range of disciplines intersect.
