Presentations for CCIRC Mini Workshop on Climate Data, Models and Downscaling, November 6, 2009

On November 6, 2009, CCIRC held a mini workshop on Climate Data, Models and Downscaling. The goal of this workshop was to provide an overview of climate models and downscaling, along with specific "how-to" presentations on plotting climate data using R, using the statistical downscaling model (SDSM), and using a stochastic weather generator for deriving climate change projections. These various climate analysis tools may be useful for individual projects in the 5-year CTEF research program on "Secondary Effects of Climate Change on Human and Ecosystem Health: A Risk-Based Approach".
