CELLTR welcomes Amanda Wallace as Faculty Liaison to Faculty of Applied Sciences

Amanda Wallace is CELLTR’s new Faculty Liaison to the Faculty of Applied Sciences (FAS). She is a PhD student in Languages, Cultures and Literacies in the Faculty of Education at SFU. Prior to coming to SFU, she was an Assistant Teaching Professor in the College English Program at Seoul National University in South Korea. Amanda has taught courses in academic writing, communication, and content-based English as a Second Language (ESL) and English for Specific Purposes (ESP) courses. She has also provided professional development seminars for faculty and students in international contexts. Amanda’s research focuses on the internationalization of higher education, academic literacies, content and language integrated learning (CLIL), and interdisciplinary collaboration. She recently published a co-authored article in TESOL Quarterly, “Flipped learning in the English as a foreign language classroom: Outcomes and perceptions.”
