Search tips:

- Enter title, author, source, keywords, date, subject, or call number.
- Each abstract has a list of hidden keywords that are related to the full text article. As a result, the search engine may find a keyword and display that abstract, although that word isn't visible on the abstract.
- Please note that all queries are keyword searches only. Words such as 'and', 'it', and 'or', will be ignored.
- To see all articles in a particular classification, such as section 100 (Philosophy), enter '100'.  See our database classification system to see how our library is organized.

Search Mode

AND mode will return results that contain all of the search terms.  eg. Searching for "offender victim" will return results in which both "offender" and "victim" are in the abstract.
OR mode will return results that contain any of the search terms.  eg. Searching for "offender victim" will return results in which either "offender" or "victim" are in the abstract.

Sorting by

Choose how the results are to be sorted.  The available sort options are:

Relevancy: sort by how relevant the abstract is to the search terms.
Size: sort by the size of each abstract.
Author: sort alphabetically by author.
Call number: sort by call number.  See the Database Classification System to see how our library is organized.
Date: sort by the date of publication.
