Kristin Kula brings over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry to her role as Business Relationship Manager for Prospera Credit Union. Kristin believes in a holistic approach to understanding the needs of her small business clients and the challenges they face. She specializes in working with small business owners to grow their businesses and help them reach their financial goals.

Kristin values education and professional development and has a Business Administration diploma as well as a Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurial Management degree with distinction from Royal Roads University. She is the proud recipient of Royal Roads University Founders Award and the President’s Scholar Award.

She gives back to her community by facilitating financial literacy courses to youth through Junior Achievement British Columbia (JABC). She likes to hike and camp in her spare time.

Lauren Sanders

Lauren Sanders is the Manager of the Office of the CEO at Clio. Lauren specializes in streamlining executive operations and transforming CEO Jack Newton's ambitious ideas into reality. Her most important project is leading all aspects of event production and company-wide collaboration for the Clio Cloud Conference, the foremost event for leaders and entrepreneurs in the legal profession. Since inception in 2013, Lauren and her team have grown this annual event from 200 attendees to an anticipated 2500 in 2020.


Michael Damiani

Michael Damiani is a lawyer and a patent agent in the Vancouver office of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. Before joining BLG, Mike conducted doctoral research in the areas of molecular biology and biochemistry at SFU. Mike’s work involves advising on intellectual property, including: (1) drafting and prosecuting patent applications in fields related to biotechnology, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, therapeutics, medical devices, chemistry, and oil and gas; (2) Advising on patentability, validity, infringement and freedom-to-operate issues; (3) Advising on international patent strategies and portfolio management; (4) Negotiating patent licensing agreements; and (5) Assisting start-up companies with early stage growth.
