Amit Sandhu

Amit Sandhu is the Managing Director of Ampri Group, a portfolio of real estate investment and development companies, and the co-founder and Voluntary Managing Director of YELL Canada, a charity devoted to empowering youth for the future. Amit finds great joy in being a community weaver and collaborator, supporting his varied interests in the arts, mental health and education. Amit is a recipient of BIV's 40 under 40 Award and the SFU BASS Community Impact Award.

 

Brandon Chapman

Brandon is an SFU entrepreneurship alumni, passionate about our community success.  Currently he manages his own financial planning practise, supporting entrepreneurs and professionals with their wealth and insurance planning.  He's also working on a tech startup of his own and is treasurer for SFU's alumni association.

 

Paulina Cameron

Paulina Cameron, CEO of the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs, leads a national organization that educates, mentors and connects women entrepreneurs to be wildly successful. Previously she was the Regional Director for Western Canada at Futurpreneur Canada, where she supported hundreds of young entrepreneurs in launching their businesses. A champion of gender equality, Paulina is the author of bestselling Canada 150 Women: conversations with champions, leaders and luminaries; and was the co-founder and president of Young Women in Business. Believing in empowerment for the next generation, Paulina was a Visiting Professor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Simon Fraser University, and has advised the Government of Canada on Canada’s $800M Youth Employment strategy. 

Paulina currently serves on the Board of Directors for YWCA Metro Vancouver, the Immigrant Employment Council of BC, and the Government of British Columbia’s Small Business Roundtable.

She has been recognized in the community by being awarded as Business in Vancouver’s Top Forty under 40 2020, BCBusiness 2019 Most Influential Women in Finance Award, the Vancouver Board of Trade’s inaugural Wendy McDonald Award, The International Alliance for Women Top 100 Award in Washington DC, the KPMG National Leadership Award, and the YWCA’s Women of Distinction Awards.

Paulina gained her business expertise working at KPMG obtaining the CPA, CA designation.

 

Trish Mandewo

Trish is a multi award-winning serial entrepreneur, Councillor for the City of Coquitlam, Co-Founder of Women’s Collaborative Hub Society, Diversity & Inclusion Champion and Mentor in Residence for SFU Coast Capital Savings Venture Connection.  She is also an Author, motivational speaker and has extensive experience as an Entrepreneurship skills trainer. Trish was awarded 2017 RBC Top 25 Canadian Immigrant award as well as the Canada 150 Sesquicentennial pin for leadership. She sits on numerous boards including the Lower Mainland Lower Government Association and the Union Of BC Municipalities.

Trish’s mantra is that Power is not in the knowledge we have but in sharing the knowledge with others.
