Prof. Steve Holdcroft & Research Team Receives Major CFI Clean Energy Award

Professor Steve Holdcroft and his research team have been awarded over $7 Million in funding through the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) to support advanced clean energy research at Simon Fraser University. This investment will enhance state‑of‑the‑art infrastructure and accelerate discoveries in sustainable materials and energy technologies, strengthening SFU’s leadership in clean energy innovation. The award highlights the impact of collaborative, interdisciplinary research and the department’s commitment to addressing global energy challenges.
