A message from Evon Khor, Undergraduate Advisor:
I have the pleasure of announcing the following students who have won the Fall 2018 Chemistry Undergraduate Research Presentation Awards for their work presented on December 14, 2018. The department will contribute towards travel and conference expenses ($500 each) when they present their research at a recognized conference.
Matthew Tung presented his Chem 484 work titled "Selective Release of Biologically Active Ligands in Hypoxic Environments using Cobalt Complexes as Chaperones" (Supervisor: Dr. Charles Walsby).
Fabian Ortiz presented his Chem 481 work titled "Exploiting Vapochromic Gold Complexes for Sensing Ammonia" (Supervisor: Dr. Daniel Leznoff).
Excellent work to all of our presenters!
