Spring 2019 Chemistry Undergraduate Research Presentation Awards
A message from Evon Khor, Undergraduate Advisor:
I have the pleasure of announcing the following students who have won the Spring 2019 Chemistry Undergraduate Research Presentation Awards for their work presented on April 24, 2019. The department will contribute towards travel and conference expenses ($500 each) when they present their research at a recognized conference.
Daniel Scutt presented his Chem 481 work titled "Ruthenium Arène Complexes with Phenol Benzimidazole Ligands Targeting Anti-Cancer Activity” (Supervisor: Dr. Charles Walsby).
Danielle Vu presented her Chem 481 work titled "Self-Assembly of Ester Substituted Dibenzophenazine-Based Liquid Crystals and Ether-Bridged Dimers" (Supervisor: Dr. Vance Williams).
Aryan Houshmand presented his Chem 484 work titled "Bridging Bioactive Molecules to Ferrocene for Antimicrobial Activity" (Supervisor: Dr. Charles Walsby).
