How do I delcare a minor in Cognitive Science?
The Cognitive Science Minor was introduced in Fall 2008, and is attractive to students with any major – especially computing, linguistics, philosophy, or psychology – who are interested in broadening their major with core cognitive science courses. You must meet with the Program Advisor to declare your Minor in cognitive science.

How do I get involved in Cognitive Science Co-op?
The aim of co-op is to provide students with valuable work experience related to their degree as part of the university curriculum. Students can do co-op in Cognitive Science through the Arts and Social Sciences Co-op department, and should apply to the program within their first year at SFU, or at least two semesters before their first intended work-term. How do I register for graduate school in Cognitive Science?
Currently SFU does not have a Cognitive Science Graduate program, though one is in the works. If you are considering SFU for graduate school, there are many faculty members affiliated with the Cognitive Science Program. If you wish to pursue graduate studies at SFU in cognitive science, you can explore the research interests of these faculty members and see if they are currently accepting graduate students. Currently, students can get a graduate degree in Cognitive Science under “Special Arrangements.” Please see the SFU Calendar section 1.3.5 Admission Under Special Arrangements, under Graduate General Regulations. And get in touch with the Program Advisor for more information on a special arrangements degree or on the forthcoming Graduate Program.
