Simon Fraser University

The aim of co-op is to provide students with valuable work experience related to their degree as part of the university curriculum. Students can do co-op in Cognitive Science through the Arts and Social Sciences Co-op department, and should apply to the program within their first year at SFU, or at least two semesters before their first intended work-term. To read about the application process, visit SFU Arts and Social Sciences Co-op website. To find out more, contact the Cognitive Science advisor or the Arts and Social Sciences Co-op office at 778-782-5839.

New to Co-op?

If you are considering applying for co-op, Arts and Social Science Co-op has information here on how and when to apply. Co-op students can do three co-op terms for a Co-op Certificate, or four terms for a Co-op designation on their degree.

Application Deadlines

Please visit the Arts and Social Sciences Co-op Important Dates section for the most up-to-date information. Note that students must apply well in advance of their first planned work term, so be sure to take note of these important deadlines.
