You must meet with the Program Advisor to declare your major in Cognitive Science.
Students admitted to the University beginning in the fall 2006 semester must meet writing, quantitative, and breadth requirements as part of any degree program they may undertake.
Please refer to the general Undergraduate Degree Requirements under "Programs Offered" described in the SFU Calendar. Also consult the main page for the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences for bachelor of arts degree requirements.
Below, you will find current program planners for students admitted to SFU after Fall 2006 who intend on declaring a Cognitive Science minor, major, or honours. All checklists are in PDF format. If you are looking for archived program planners, or if you were admitted to SFU before September 2006, please visit our Archived Planners page. To see course descriptions and availability, view the Course Descriptions page.

Graduate School in Cognitive Science
Currently SFU does not have a Cognitive Science Graduate program, though one is in the works. If you are considering SFU for graduate school, however, there are many faculty members affiliated with the Cognitive Science Program. If you wish to pursue graduate studies at SFU in cognitive science, you can explore the research interests of these faculty members and see if they are currently accepting graduate students. Currently, students can get a graduate degree in Cognitive Science under “Special Arrangements.” Please see the SFU Calendar section 1.3.5 Admission Under Special Arrangements, under Graduate General Regulations. And get in touch with the Program Advisor for more information.
