Earn two Master of Arts degrees in the time it takes most people to get just one

In a world of growing Chinese influence, and increasing geopolitical struggle, global communication is more important than ever.

SFU’s Master of Arts in Global Communication program will equip you with the education you need to tackle these challenges.  We offer:

  1.  One year of study at  SFU’s School of Communication in Vancouver Canada
  2.  One year of study at the Communications University of China in Beijing, which is the #1 ranked university for global communications in China.

Through course work, field placements and community engagement, you will establish a firm grounding in key concepts and frameworks, develop mastery of English, learn basic Chinese (Mandarin), and gain valuable work and cultural experiences.

Our program boasts a 98% completion rate and our alumni take up professional posts at prestigious institutions such as the Red Cross, the Canadian Federal Government, and the Better Business Bureau.

As a graduate of the program you will become eligible to apply for a 2 year Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) in Canada, and eventually, the “Canadian Experience Class” immigration program.
